What Our Employees Say: Ingrid
Everyone at Hardent has been really helpful and supportive right from the start. I’m lucky to have some awesome mentors here; they are great people, very knowledgeable, and they help me learn and understand my job better on a daily basis. I enjoy the fact that the work schedule is flexible and that I can work at the times that suit me best. The management team is also always making sure that I am enjoying my work and asking what interests me the most in future projects. As a new team member who recently moved to Montreal, I particularly appreciate the effort that Hardent makes to create opportunities for the team to build personal connections

What Our Employees Say: Roberto
What’s great about Hardent is that you get the chance to work on many different projects, as well as different stages within projects. It’s impossible to get bored — you can go from working on FPGAs to ASICs, from design to verification, from writing the spec for an IP to testing it on a board. This is particularly important when you are just starting your career because you quickly get exposed to real projects and you are challenged by working on projects for some of the big players in the industry. There’s definitely plenty of things to learn here and very talented people to learn from. You are not just a number sitting behind your desk! When you have a personal problem, you can talk about it and get support from your colleagues and management. We also do fun stuff outside of the office (hiking, bowling, winery tour, etc.) and the office location is fantastic for enjoying a lunchtime walk in the Old Port.

What Our Employees Say: Stéphane
I really appreciate the flexibility that Hardent offers; I’m free to manage when and where I work based on whatever project I’m currently working on. Being a small company, it means that we can act quickly and efficiently, without things getting held up by red tape. I’m also always learning and being challenged by the cutting-edge projects that I have the opportunity to work on. I particularly enjoy the direct contact I get with our customers on a daily basis. It’s a great feeling to have my work recognized once a project has been successfully completed and even better when a happy customer comes back and wants to work together on their next design!

Our Office
Update: Right now, our entire team is working from home due to COVID-19. We will return to working from the office whenever it’s safe to do so.
Our office is located in Old Montreal. We work out of a bright and spacious building with stunning views over the St. Lawrence River.
It’s a beautiful area of the city to work in, and during summer the Hardent team can often be found taking lunch-time walks together or enjoying a picnic down by the water.
We have two kitchen and recreation areas fully stocked with top of the line coffee machines and all the David’s tea varieties you can think of. A selection of cold beverages are also available and fresh fruit baskets are delivered on Mondays to start the week right. We also always have some beer in the fridge to celebrate the beginning of the weekend or project milestones!
Closest metro station: Square Victoria-OACI, a 4-minute walk from the office
Closest train station: Gare-Centrale, a 12 minute-walk from the office
