Hardent – One of Few Selected Certified Members for FPGA Design Implementation with Xilinx’s Alliance Program

May 26, 2011

Hardent is now the only Xilinx Certified Alliance Program Member for FPGA Programming Design in Quebec and one of only two in Canada.

Over the last year, Hardent has cemented itself as the premier certified Xilinx Alliance Program Member in Canada. Hardent is now the only Xilinx certified vendor of FPGA design services in Quebec, one of two such vendors certified across Canada, and one of only 8 certified in the Americas.

“Through the Xilinx certification program, Hardent has shown the ability to set a higher bar of corporate maturity and technical competence,” said President and Founder of Hardent Simon Robin. “Hardent has passed the Xilinx stringent corporate certification survey and had the required set of engineers each pass the four critical skills assessment tests for FPGA design.”

According to the Xilinx Alliance guidelines, certified members must demonstrate qualified expertise on the latest Xilinx devices and implementation techniques, as well as consistently deliver high quality products and services on Xilinx programmable platforms. Hardent has passed a comprehensive 320-point review of their technical, business, quality, and support processes and has committed engineers to passing the same rigorous training used by Xilinx Field Application Engineers worldwide. Hardent also must annually refresh Certification training to ensure they have updated expertise on the latest products and technologies from Xilinx.

The certification process extends to Hardent’s senior engineers, who take a central role in Hardent’s electronic design consulting as well as in delivering hands-on and interactive Hardent/Xilinx training services. Consult with Hardent today to work with a Xilinx Certified Member whether to assist you in your next FPGA design implementation or register to the next Xilinx’s FPGA programming design training.

I’ve worked with Hardent for many years and have recommended them a few times in the past. Hardent has always been extremely successful with their clients. They have many flexible ways of working with a client and will negotiate a mutually beneficial solution.

In our case, they just log into our servers and we are in constant contact via IM, email, phone, etc., but they have all their own design tools as well, so they can work either way. Being in the same time zone makes working with them easy. I am sure you will be happy with the outcome of their work. They’ll hit the ground running much faster than a single contractor would.
