Hardent, Avnet Inc, Prompt Inc, ETS, CIMEQ, ResMIQ and the NSERC have collaborated to organize a discussion forum about the use of FPGA design technology in business, with a testimonial case study of a client. The event is scheduled on Thursday, March 24th, 2011, where each partner will discuss different aspects and benefits of incorporating FPGA design technology
Hardent has partnered with Avnet Inc., Prompt, Inc, the ETS (École de Technologie Supérior), NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada), ReSMiQ (Regroupment Stratégique en Microsystèmes du Quebec) and CIMEQ (Centre d‘innovation en microélectronique du Québec) to create an educational forum for Quebec electronics developers, engineering and R&D departments. The forum will discuss the importance and the methods of incorporating integrated electronic circuits and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) design into modern electronic design.
“It’s an opportunity for businesses to understand not only how FPGA design can help their business, but how to effectively and efficiently implement it,” said Simon Robin, President of Hardent. “We have assembled a team that is composed of some of the leading Canadian technological innovators.”
The event will feature demonstrations and presentations from Hardent and prominent members of the Quebec technology, education and business sectors, including case studies and testimonials from real electronic design experiences. The forum will also incorporate interactive tutorials and an opportunity for guests to react, ask questions, and network with like-minded businesses.
