Hardent Announces Expansion of Xilinx Training in the USA

December 2, 2020

Hardent selected by Xilinx to be the new Xilinx training provider in four U.S. states.

Hardent, a Xilinx, Inc. Authorized Training Provider (ATP) and certified member of the Xilinx Alliance Program, has today announced the expansion of its Xilinx training territory in the USA. Following a selection process by Xilinx, Hardent was chosen to be the new training provider for Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania.

Xilinx offers an extensive curriculum of training courses covering all aspects of Xilinx devices and tools. Developed by Xilinx engineers, these instructor-led training courses help Xilinx customers accelerate their productivity and get products to market faster. Xilinx Authorized Training Providers (ATPs) form a global network of expert instructors that have been certified by Xilinx and are authorized exclusively to teach these training courses in their respective region.

Hardent has been the Xilinx ATP for New England, the Southeastern United States, and Canada since 2009. “Hardent is a leading provider of Xilinx training in North America,” says Rhett Whatcott, senior manager, Global Training and Enablement at Xilinx. “Hardent’s advanced technical expertise, knowledge of the markets in these states, and commitment to delivering a high-quality training experience make them an excellent fit to conduct Xilinx training in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania.”

Xilinx training courses offered by Hardent enable customers to learn how to design and program Xilinx SoCs, FPGAs, or ACAPs using embedded systems, the Vitis unified software platform, and Vivado Design Suite best practices and design techniques. Training materials can be customized by Hardent to help teams get access to the most relevant and up-to-date information for their current design projects. Due to Covid-19, Hardent’s full course curriculum is currently taught in a live virtual classroom in which students have the same learning experience as they would in a real-life classroom environment.

With these recent changes, Hardent’s Xilinx training territory is now as follows:

USA: Alabama; Connecticut; Florida; Georgia; Indiana; Maine; Massachusetts; Michigan; Mississippi, New Hampshire; North Carolina; Ohio; Rhode Island; South Carolina; Tennessee; Vermont; Western Pennsylvania.

Canada: Alberta; British Columbia; Manitoba; New Brunswick; Nova Scotia; Newfoundland and Labrador; Ontario; Prince Edward Island; Quebec; Saskatchewan.

Time to market was one of our first considerations in choosing Hardent to design a PCI communication bridge. They grasped the project requirements in a matter of days. Their impressive expertise and responsiveness made the development process very smooth, as if they were working right down the hall.
