New DSP Training Tutorial Course Now Offered by Hardent DSP Design Experts

November 22, 2010

The new digital signal processing (DSP) Primer tutorial course will enable experienced system architects and hardware design engineers to refresh their knowledge in DSP design theory

Hardent Electronic Design Services, an expert in FGPA and DSP design, is proud to announce the availability of a new digital signal processing (DSP) training tutorial course. This DSP Primer tutorial course will serve as a DSP design knowledge refresher for engineers, system designers, and technology architects by focusing on application and theory.

“With the rapid advance in electronics technology, we see more and more silicon manufacturers looking to revive DSP theoretical principles with their engineers,” said Reg Zatrepalek, DSP Evangelist for Hardent. “Many engineers now feel the need to update their knowledge of basic DSP design concepts.” Digital signal processing has risen to prominence in the electronics industry, through its applications in military systems, medical imaging applications, and popular consumer electronics including 4G LTE telecommunications and HDTV technology.

Hardent’s unique three-day DSP training tutorial course will focus on application, rather on the specific hardware implementation, by introducing basic terminology and concepts, exploring filtering models, transforms, and convolutions, and weighing the advantages and disadvantages of different hardware implementation strategies. As with every Hardent digital signal processing tutorial, its DSP Primer course focuses on practical, hands-on exercises, to ensure that design engineers get the most out of Hardent’s experienced electronics design experts. Xilinx customers may be able to use their training credits to sign for this new course, subject for Xilinx pre-approval. Please visit the Hardent website for more details on the new digital signal processing training course.

Time to market was one of our first considerations in choosing Hardent to design a PCI communication bridge. They grasped the project requirements in a matter of days. Their impressive expertise and responsiveness made the development process very smooth, as if they were working right down the hall.
