Hardent DSP / FPGA Design Experts Offer Training Using MathWorks Tools for FPGA Design and Implementation

October 20, 2010

Hardent, a specialist in DSP project design and FPGA design, offers training for DSP project development and DSP / FPGA design using MathWorks software.

Hardent Electronic Design Services, a specialist in DSP project design and FPGA design, announced today new and improved training materials to further promote the use of Model-Based Design. The updated materials help signal processing engineers use MathWorks tools such as MATLAB® and Simulink® for FPGA design and DSP design.

“We at Hardent are pleased to contribute our expertise in DSP and FPGA design,” said Simon Robin, CEO and founder of Hardent. “Hardent holds extensive experience with MathWorks products for DSP and FPGA development in the area of digital signal processing (DSP), communication, and other design projects. Hardent’s design expertise includes the realization of sophisticated algorithms for efficient FPGA and DSP project development.”

In addition to expertise in FPGA / DSP design, Hardent also provides hands-on public training courses geared towards specific industries and application areas. Courses focused on digital signal processing (DSP) design include both Essential DSP Implementation Techniques for Xilinx FPGAs, as well as DSP Design Using System Generator. The former course addresses basic binary number theory and mathematics, as well as exploring signal processing architecture and optimized implementation strategies utilizing the essential features within the FPGA. The latter is an intermediate level course that leverages the Xilinx System Generator tool to provide the expertise required to develop advanced, low cost DSP designs.
